Dakota Guardianship and Dakota Advocacy share a commitment to making sure people are heard, supported, and treated with dignity. Through Dakota Guardianship, our nonprofit provides court-appointed guardianship services for individuals who need someone to protect their interests and coordinate their care. Through Dakota Advocacy, we help individuals and families navigate healthcare decisions, communicate with providers, and understand their options.
Together, our team brings more than 50 years of combined experience in healthcare, operations, facilities, social work, nursing homes, discharge planning, and patient advocacy. We understand the challenges individuals and families face, as well as the systems involved in delivering care. That experience helps us ask thoughtful questions, work with care teams, and speak up when someone needs support.
